Rosie is a doe
that has just amazed us with how
much she has changed. When we
first brought her home, she
looked like a long, skinny, slab
of bacon. In the last years she
has filled out, up and all around
to a very nice doe. She is still
very long bodied and level, and
has added quite a bit of width to
that
also.
Rosie
,unfortunately, is the only doe
in our herd to have had lasting
effects from our rare mastitis
out break, so she can't be shown
anymore. Her genetics are a
valuable part of our breeding
program though, so she is staying
as a brood doe one more year.
