Piranha is a gift to us and
has absolutely wonderful
genetics!!! She is one of the
rescue goats from a couple years
ago, that was almost dead on her
feet, and has made a miraculous
comback in the last two years.
Piranha freshened last year with
a single buck kid and an
absolutely GORGEOUS mammary. We
retained the buck, and are
excited to see such quality come
shining through. Piranha has had
an extremely hard life, and has
paid for it in her growth. She is
still a very wide and level doe
with wonderful dairy character
and a mammary that couldn't get
any higher or wider in the rear
if we tried!! Her fore udder
is also superb, along with very
nice teat placement and medial.
She had a very nasty case of
mastitis at some point in her
unfortunate life, and it caused
one side of her mammary to have
too much scar tissue to milk
properly. She still fills with
milk though, and the effect is
one that is a knockout!!! We love
this grand old doe and will be
retaining first doe kid from her.
She is the only doe in the herd
that is not a dual purpose
show\brood doe. Piranha will live
the easy life here for the rest
of her years and will be pampered
as much as possible!!
Piranha is
bred to Justin for March 18th
kids. First doe retained, bucks
or does $400.
