Odoe came by her name from a
birthmark that she has on her
left side. It is in the shape of
a perfect "O"! When we seen this
little tiny doeling at Donna's
house our first reaction was "Oh
my goodness look how wide she is
!" then when we found out about
the birthmark, we had to have
her, she was marked just for us!!
We love this doe, and her genetic
background is fantastic. Odoe is
very wide, open , dairy, and
level and has a very michevious
personality. Odoe freshened with
a lovely mammary, but
unfortunately was one of our does
hit with the mastitis, we almost
lost her, and she was never
shown
her
first year. This year, she
freshened with some residual
problems, but made a strong
comeback in the ring! She
freshened very late, and only had
a chance to get to one show,
where she placed First, GCH,Best
of Breed and Best Udder, second
to Angel in the second ring, and
second in the third ring ( which
was completely my fault). Not too
bad we didn't think for a doe
that we thought would be
completely ruined! We are really
looking forward to her showing
her stuff this year, and have
high hopes for her. Odoe is also
a very strong brood doe,
producing beautiful and stylish
kids.
