Angel came to be in our herd
because it was love at first site
between her and Dwight. Here was
this little tiny kid and she just
wouldn't leave him alone, and it
was really quite pathetic! He
decided right then and there that
he had to have her, and that was
before he found out what her
pedigree was!! It just so happens
that she is a full genetic sister
to Crown-Hill's beautiful doe,
ROSE. What a plus that turned out
to be!!! Angel is spoiled rotten
and is definately Dwights goat.
Angel matured VERY nicely
,and freshened with a beautifully
attached udder. Unfortunately,
she was hit with the mastitis
that we had two years ago, and
wasn't able to be shown often, as
she was still recovering this
season. Angel had the opportunity
to strut her stuff at only two
shows, the first show she was in
the top five, the second show,
she took second or third only to
her two herd mates, Odoe
or Jessica,
and she did manage a first
placing in there also. Angel
still didn't have her full milk
capacity even then, but we are
looking forward to seeing her
freshen this year in full
recovery. Angel has given us buck
kids the last two years, so we
will be retaining a doe kid from
her for sure if she will
cooporate with us this time!
